On April 4, "Guotai Environmental," an investee company of the sub-fund backed by the mother fund managed by Yuanhe Chencun Joint Capital, was listed on the ChiNext Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with stock code: 301203.

Founded in 2001, Guotai Environmental Protection is one of the earliest companies in China to specialize in the professional treatment of urban and industrial wastewater sludge. Committed to seamlessly integrating technologies across the entire sludge treatment, disposal, and resource recovery process, the company aims to achieve closed-loop sludge management while generating green electricity. This innovative approach offers a new, highly efficient pathway—economically viable, featuring domestically produced key equipment, maximizing resource utilization, conserving energy, and delivering significant carbon reduction—to tackle China’s persistent challenges in sludge management. In the field of sludge treatment, Guotai Environmental Protection has developed a unique "system solution design + complete equipment integration + operational services" integrated business model. Notably, the company has successfully commissioned China’s largest single-site sludge treatment project in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, with a processing capacity of 4,000 tons per day.

After listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext board, Guotai Environmental Protection will become the first A-share listed company specializing in sludge treatment services. With over two decades of accumulated expertise in environmental protection technology, Guotai Environmental Protection is actively expanding its business into energy-saving and eco-friendly equipment for new materials and new energy sectors. Notably, its independently developed solvent-based waste gas treatment and recycling systems for lithium batteries have already been successfully implemented at leading domestic lithium battery manufacturers, helping customers achieve energy efficiency, reduce consumption, and promote resource circularity throughout their production processes.

Cathay Environmental consistently focuses on independent innovation, with several core technologies currently held exclusively by the company. To date, the company has been granted 284 patents, including 40 invention patents.

The funds raised from this IPO will be primarily used for the "Complete Equipment Manufacturing Base Project" and the construction of the Science & Innovation Center and R&D Center projects.
